Plant Sale at Tour of Kitchens

Coral Gables Garden Club’s Plant Sale at the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s “Tour of Kitchens”

For the past several years, we have operated a plant sale at one of the homes of the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s Tour of Kitchens. The chairman chooses the plants she wishes to sell, and a group of members travels south with her to the Redlands to purchase herbs, organic vegetables and flowering plants from wholesale nurseries. About 12 members volunteer for the day. This is a wonderful way for the club to have a presence in our city and to talk about our many worthwhile projects and successes. We are hoping to participate again in 2021.
