Betsy Adams and the
Coral Gables Garden Club Park

Located at 4650 Alhambra Circle and dedicated in 2018, this city park honors member Betsy Adams and the Coral Gables Garden Club for the significant role we have played in the beautification of Coral Gables.

Visionary leader and past president, Betsy Adams spearheaded the creation of three new city entrances in the 1990s and 2000s, furthering George Merrick’s dream of constructing beautiful gateways into Coral Gables at all major crossroads. Subsequent prominent gifts to the city have included the George Merrick and Althea Merrick bronze statues. The Coral Gables Garden Club is grateful for a tribute which enhances our green spaces and prioritizes children’s needs.
